Mr. Fjelstrom's Algebra Class

Today we went over Quiz 9.2 in class (we will retake the quiz on Wednesday), and started Solving by Square Rooting. Homework was #44 page 507 #54-77 all. You will need a calculator for it.

Today we went over the Factoring Polynomials test, then took a quiz on simplifying and evaluating square roots. No homework was assigned.

Today we worked more on #41 and #42 (Evaluating and sympifying square roots). Then we took some notes on evaluating square roots with a calculator. Homework assigned was #43 page 507 #24-52 even. There will be a quiz tomorrow (the minimum day).

Today we started class with Assignment #40 page 607 #28-40 (even) and page 615 #34-46 (even)

Then we had notes on square rooting on a calculator and also simplifying square roots. The assignments were handouts, #41 page 6 even & #42 page 7 even. The odds were assigned for extra credit. A calculator is a must.

Wednesday we will have our Polynomials Test. Topics will cover adding, subtracting, and multiplying polynomials, as well as factoring.
